STEP 2 SOURCES

Strong's Exhaustive Bible Concordance Online

Use the drop-down arrow to change "References" to "The Bible" before entering your word in the search box. *In Noodle Tools cite as "reference"

Merriam-Webster

Choose either "Dictionary" or "Thesaurus" to search for your word. You will need 2 citations: one citation for each the Dictionary and the Thesaurus.

Concordance of Shakespeare's Complete Works from Open Source Shakespeare

Choose the letter of the alphabet that begins your word to see all the word forms beginning with that letter. Then hold down the "ctrl" and the "f" key at the same time to get a search box in the upper right of the page. Type your word into that search box to have the computer search the list for you. *You can click on the "see all the instances at once" link to see and skim all the verses that contain your word.

Bartlett's Familiar Quotations on the Literature Network

Type your word into the "Quote" field to get a list of quotations from Bartlett's. Choose your favorite.

Brainy Quote

If your word does not bring up a quotation in Bartlett's, use Brainy Quote or another online source of quotations. Be sure to click on the quotation and cite the page it shows up on individually, not the search page showing all the quotes.
