What is PageTurners?
PageTurners is a selected club for our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students who LOVE to read and think critically and creatively about what they read.
Students read books from assigned lists and develop questions for these books to help other students learn about the stories. Students also participate in two competitions during the school year against 4 other school's teams, in which they answer questions about the books on the list.
Who can join?
Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th are selected by their teacher.
How do you join?
If selected, or interested, Ms. Mullin will give you a timeline and permission slip for your parents/guardians to sign and return. Weekly meetings are held in the PS Library on Mondays from 1-1:30 p.m. for 4th grade, and at 2:30 p.m. for grades 3 and 5.
When and where are competitions?
Competitions will be announced as soon as they are determined. They are held during the school day.
